These are just a few on the New Year goals list. It is very exciting to enter another year with such technological freedom. I have a ton of valuable information that online friends have been asking for and organic SEO tips that I want to share in my Video Marketing 2010 Series. This is a HUGE project and personal accomplishment for me. I am working hard to plan a live video streaming series and cater these messages according to the topics that you think are of most benefit to you (online marketing, organic seo, life balance, money & career, wellness, relationships, spirituality, teens, Intenet business action plans). I have expert coaches that will contribute to these sessions as well. Best of all … I will host live broadcast sessions via The Payer Player (Ikyubit). Marketing your business online in 2010 … it is going to be a lot of fun!!!

As most of you know, I am more on the shy side – “a behind the scenes type of gal” – therefore live broadcasts and video marketing was not as much of a priority in the past. I basically depend on social media marketing and search engine optimization strategies like the rest of you. As you can imagine, moving towards video training is now personal and an exciting goal for the New Year.

One of my mentors suggested that I create videos in Sept 2008. My shyness was comical to her at first (I am rather outgoing by phone, so she could not image). She made every effort to encourage this progress and then became annoyed that I would not create videos to make online marketing easier. After some time, I had set a plan on making video trainings and marketing to begin in 2010. This was with purpose of not featuring any other company nor service but my own when I came out on video. Hope those business owners understand this motivation. I have been developing online for 10 years now. It just makes more sense to me.

As finances became tight in this economy and hundreds of online business partners starting asking  that I send them video trainings to help make more money online. It really became tough to hold firm to my plan not to market other companies on video in 2009. I did give in and created a blog talk radio, voice recording and video training for Orange Leads. This raised quite a bit of traffic for my website. It was a lot of fun to track and receive their feedback. Now, I am moving forward with some of the most informative and diverse video trainings stemmed by years of experiences, mistakes and technological advancements. This should be fun!!!

Nice thing about video trainings / video marketing is that it is a FUN WAY TO MAKE MONEY and brand online. As the old saying goes … “She’s about to blow!!!” … LOL that is referring to me Advanced Social Media, Internet Marketing and Organic SEO trainings will be private. This does include partners that provide life and teen coaching.

Google Rankings & The Keywords Meta Tag

I have mentioned this to new designers and SEOs at least a 100 times in the past few months. Now you can hear it directly from Matt Cutts mouth. Google just does not place weight on keyword meta tags unless it is a refined search. I would love if it was different, but it is not.

So, should you still add the Keywords Meta Tag?

Yes, you should. The keyword analysis process and placement of keywords in the meta tags is important to your learning and ranking process. Additionally, other search engines do use the Keywords Meta Tag , therefore you still need to add them correctly.

Over the years, there has been as much confusion over the importance of social media marketing as there is in defining the distinctions between Web 2.0 and Web 3.0. This is why I stepped back and took a year to develop my own strategies that incorporated search engine optimization and Internet marketing in this SMM process. I remember meeting a gentleman on Myspace that inquired about what I meant by Social Media Optimization … I laugh at this now because that was the tag line I was using prior to branding as “Pittsburgh SEO”. Regardless, I explained it to him as best as I could. He replied back that it was interesting and that was the last I heard from him. Maybe he laughed because he already knew, too.
